A Night at the MT Awards
The Algorithm People was a proud supporter of one of the most anticipated nights in the calendar for the road freight industry.
The Motor Transport Awards recognises and rewards excellence in the road freight transport sector. Route optimisation and fleet scheduling specialist The Algorithm People sponsored the Operational Excellence category of the awards.
The Algorithm People provides optimisation solutions which can deliver savings of up to 30 per cent compared to manually planning transport operations. These savings are achieved through a combination of increased efficiency, improved vehicle utilisation and lower total fleet mileage.
Colin Ferguson, Chief Executive Officer at The Algorithm People, said: “We were proud to be a sponsor this prestigious and well-attended event.
“Operational excellence is at the heart of what we do – we optimise fleets to help them cut carbon, reduce total fleet mileage, and increase vehicle utilisation. Therefore, this was the ideal awards category for us to sponsor. I would like to congratulate all the finalists – and especially the winner, Wren Kitchens.”
The 33rd annual Motor Transport Awards took place at the Grosvenor House hotel in London’s Park Lane in July. Companies shortlisted for the Operational Excellence award were Speedy Asset Services, Wren Kitchens, City Plumbing Supplies Holdings, and Restore Datashred.
Andy Salter, Managing Director of DVV Media, owner of Motor Transport, said: “”We were delighted to have The Algorithm People on board as a sponsor for the Motor Transport Awards, which was one of the biggest and best yet. Operational excellence is all about improving efficiencies, so The Algorithm People is a really good fit with this category.”
The Algorithm People offers a free consultation to all fleets, to demonstrate the potential operational savings achieved by using its software.
